Picture
Tail banding is a common procedure in sheep to prevent possible fly strike. Dr. Varga likes to leave at least 2-3 coccygeal vertebrae. Sheep with longer tails are less likely to prolapse their rectum or vagina.

The lamb had a metatarsal fracture and Dr. Varga applied a cast to the broken leg. The leg healed without complications.
